This is how to make the perfect scores in Turn Survival. I think those scores are 17 days in basic course and 85 maps in champion, but I might update later. I'm sorry if I don't write very good English (I'm French), but I'll try to be as clear as possible, and to explain my general strats. I'll sometimes explain some other interesting strats (even if they're not the best) and also how to maximize the individual map score (but very quickly, because it's not the goal of this guide). Of course, it's better if you already have played many hours in Turn Survival, because I won't repeat the basic rules! I'll also sometimes thanks those who helped me to achieve those scores. ---------------- 2. Some advice ---------------- This strat is mostly based on luck, so always be patient! You'll frequently have to start and start again until you have made enough damage to the enemy. You should always save before & after attacking, unless noted (FoW maps). Also, you should save when you start a map if everything went ok. Here's the luck formula: LD = (BL-1)*(HPa/10)*(200-(Dd+(HPd*Td)))/100 LD = Luck Damage = Extra percent damage BL = Base Luck = CO luck + (TAG Stars)*5 + Luck Skill HPa= HP of attacker HPd= HP of defender Dd = Defense of Defender (100 for anyone but Grimm, for Grimm = 70) Td = Terrain Stars of defender Notes: - For most COs, their innate luck is +10 - TAG Stars only apply when you have the pair of COs - Luck Skill gives you +10 luck - LD needs to be an Integer, so always round down - BL will varie, don't expect to have the maximum always (Though you'll look for it) Here's an example, so you can understand better: You're using Eagle & want to attack Drake's Submarine with an Artillery (Map 1). LD = ((10 + 15 + 10) - 1) * (10/10) * (200 - (100 + (10*0) ) ) / 100 = (34) * (1) * (1) = +34 So, apart of doing normal damage, you might be able to do +3.4 damage, if lucky, thus killing the submarine in 1 shot. --------------------------- 3. What COs must I chose? --------------------------- Eagle, because his power allows you to play twice in one turn (except for the infantry). And Sami, because with her SCOP, she can catch the HQs in only 1 day. Besides, this couple have an extra +15% luck (3 stars). ------------------------------- 4. What skills must I select? ------------------------------- In fact, you don't have the choice. I'll try to explain you later the utility of each skill (except for luck, which is ALWAYS needed!). Eagle must have: Brawler, APC Boost, Luck, Star Power Sami must have: APC Boost, Teamwork, Synergy, Star Power Note: Teamwork & Synergy's descriptions are wrong, they do add the attack to the parter but all the time, not just on TAGs. ------------- 5. The maps ------------- ----------------------- 5.1 Map 1 - Convoy Cape ----------------------- Goals: Finish it in 4 days. Eagle must have 6 stars and Sami 3 stars charged. She needs her CO power on the next turn. Skills: Star Power for the couple. Transport +1 for one of them. Strat Day 1: - Move the T-Copter 5E - Move the northen Lander 4S3E, just below the copter - Load the northen Black Boat with an Infantry & move it 2N6E - Load the other Lander with an Infantry & move it 7E - Move the other Black Boat 1N (not really necesary though) Day 2: - Unload the Infantry, just beware on not being in range of the Submarine Day 3: - Build an Artillery on the base - Start capturing the HQ - Move the unloaded Black Boat 1N6W, just away of sub's range Day 4: * Save - Kill the Submarine with the Artillery (Yes, is possible) - Finish capturing the HQ Individual strat: Tag power with Eagle/Sami: 1 turn. Alternative strat: If you are in Champion Survival, you should be able to use Eagle's power to finish it in 3 days, after the 1st wave. PS: Thanks to "dragonfogel". ----------------------- 5.2 Map 2 - Cannon Land ----------------------- Goal: Finish it in 5 days. Skills: None. Strat Day 1: - Build an APC, use Eagle's power & move it 1W2N - Build an Infantry * Switch CO to Sami Day 2: - Load the APC & move it 2N4E Day 3: - Move the APC 6E Day 4: - Move the APC 4E1S & drop the Infantry. Preferably south. Day 5: * Save - Activate Sami's CO power and attack the Infantry. He must only have 3 Hp. * Switch CO to Eagle & hope that he will kill the Infantry on a counter attack. Individual strat: Tag power to catch the southern towns with Sami, then create indirect units with Hachi to kill the inf: 2 turns. Alternative strats: Any CO with the "Soul of Hachi" skill and the power charged can finish it in 4 days. It's also possible to finish it in 3 days by using Eagle's power twice, and then Sami's SCOP. PS: Thanks to "x0_000". ---------------------- 5.3 Map 3 - Mr. Fix-it ---------------------- Goal: Finish it in 3 days. Skills: Eagle's battleships must have at least +13% attack. He also needs APC Boost. Strat Day 1: - Move the western Black Boat (The 1st one from left to right) to the shoal, next to the Port, & load the Infantry - Move the next Black Boat & repair the 3rd Battleship (from left to right) - Do the same with the other Black Boat - Move the 2 western Battleships to the east * Save - Use the 6 Hp & 4 Hp remaining Battleships to kill the recon - Activate Eagle's CO power - Unload the Infantry on the missile Silo - Move the left-most Battleship next to the Black Boat (1S1E from the Silo) - Move the next Battleship 3E from the Silo - Move the Black Boats on the road above the Battleship & in the bridge (They will lure the Tank & Neotanks & fill your CO gauge) * Save - Hit the southern Infantry down to 2 Hp with the last 2 Battleships Day 2: - Launch the missile so it can hit the 2 Infantry in the towns & APC (You want to leave the costly units to fill your CO gauge) - Repair the 6 Hp Battleship with the western Black Boat - Repair the Battleship that is next to a Black Boat, & don't move the other * Save - Kill the APC with the 7 Hp Battleship - Use 2 Battleships to kill the tank - Use the last Battleship to bring down the Neotank's Hp to 7 * Save Day 2 (Enemy): - He must sacrifice an Infantry while attacking yours, in a kamikaze attack Day 3: - Use the damaged Black Boats to repair the 7 Hp Battleship - Join the other Boat to win some money & be able to repair an extra Battleship * Save - Use the 9 Hp Battleship to kill the 7 Hp Neotank - Kill the last Neotank with the other 3 Battleships - Activate Eagle's CO, if short, then attack an Infantry with yours first - Kill the Infantrys with the Battletanks & finish the map Individual strat: Tag power to create a man in the eastern town with the soul of hachi, then catch the HQ with Sami: 1 turn. Alternative Strat: Read section 6.1 PS: Thanks to Boris "sterlingfalco". ------------------------- 5.4 Map 4 - Aircraft Hunt ------------------------- Goal: Finish it in 2 days. Skills: None. Strat Day 1: - Unload the 2 Copters that are inside the Carrier - Kill 2 Copters with your Anti-Airs Day 1 (Enemy): - He usually activates his CO power, doesn't matter if he does or not Day 2: - Be sure to be able to kill all the Copters with Anti-Airs, Missile & Carrier * Save - Use your Copters to kill his in one shot Individual strat: Tag power with Eagle: 1 turn. ------------------------ 5.5 Map 5 - Rain of Pain ------------------------ Goals: Finish it in 2 days. Charge Sami's SCOP. Skills: None. Note: This is a FoW map, units placed on reefs or Forest will be hidden unless you place next to it. Also, is recommended to take a look on how many units left does she have, as you might think you killed them all, but 1 of them hid. ASCII map of Sonja's units +------------------------+ | | | __ __ __ __ | | | | | | | r| | | | | |_a| |_r| |__| |__| | | __ __ b __ __ | | | | | | | | | | | | |__| |__| |ta| |__| | | __ __ b __ __ | | |t | |a | | | |t | | | |__| |__| |r_| |__| | | | | | +------------------------+ a = Artillery r = Recon b = Black Boat t = Tank Strat Day 1: - Use your southern Battleship to kill the visible tank - Move all your submarines to the west, but don't dive them, they'll help you charge your CO gauge later - Kill the Recon that is next to your Submarine with the other Battleship - Use the northern Black Boat to discover the artillery - Attack it with a Copter (kill it if possible) - Attack the Northen Recon with another Copter (kill it if possible) - Use another Copter to discover the tank on the Southwestern island - Attack it with the last Copter (kill it if possible) - Activate Eagle's CO power - Kill the Black Boats with your Submarines. If you kill a Black Boat with only 1 Sub, place the other as if also attacked it (They'll need to be attacked with with an Artillery next turn) - Kill all enemies left but the 2 Artilleries, doesn't mind if someone escapes, as long as you can take it on the next turn * Switch CO to Sami Day 2: - Use your Submarines & Black Boats to discover the hidden enemies - Kill them with your Copters & Battleships Individual strat: Tag power with Eagle: 1 turn. Alternative strat: Even without Eagle, it's possible to finish it in 2 days by killing each unit in one shot at day 1. --------------------- 5.6 Map 6 - Lone Wolf --------------------- Goal: Finish it in 1 day. Skill: None. Strat: Activate Sami's SCOP to catch the HQ. Alternative strat: With Andy, Koal or Adder and a Tag power, you can also finish it in 1 day. --------------------- 5.7 Map 7 - Fenced In --------------------- Goal: Finish it in 2 days. Skills: None. Strat Day 1: - Attack the western & eastern Pipelines with Copters (You'll sacrifice them) - Cloack your Stealths next to the Pipeline - Move the Northwestern Copter 3S - Move the Southeastern 3N - Move the Northeastern Bomber 5S - Move the Southwestern Bomber 5N * Switch CO to Eagle Day 2: - Destroy the Pipelines with Stealths - Kill the Landers with the other Stealths - Kill the Carriers with the Bombers - Damage the Battleships 5 or 6 Hp - Activate Eagle's CO power - Kill the Battleships with the Copters - Kill the Black Boats with the Bombers - Kill the Battleships with 2 Stealths each Individual strat: Tag power with Eagle: 1 turn. Alternative strat: If Eagle has at least +16% attack, his stealths can destroy pipelines in one shot, and so you can destroy the northern and the southern pipelines instead. ---------------------- 5.8 Map 8 - River Raid ---------------------- Goal: Finish it in 2 days. Charge as much power as possible. Skills: None. Strat Day 1: - Attack the Carriers with tanks, they need to take 3 Hp damage - Attack the Battleships with Neotank & Md Tank, if possible, hit them down to 1 Hp - Move the Artillery, Megatanks & Rocket to the west - Move the Lander 5W1S, so it can block Javier's units - Activate Eagle's CO power Use Eagle's power to kill the battleships; Javier's power is very close to be charged, so don't make other attacks. Move the rockets to the western roads. Move the southern art to the west, so that it can attack the black boat. Move the northern art to the west too, so that it can attack the carrier. Move the megatanks to the west. Move the southern md tank to the southwestern plain, and the northern tank to the plain next to the md tank. This position is very important, because of Javier's movements. There are other "good" positions, but I think this one maximizes the power you can charge at day 2. Wait that Javier don't move a black boat to the southeastern corner, and you'll be able to make a bloodshed! Day 2: It's not necessary to make always the maximum damages, but this is the best you can do. In the north: 7 damages to the lander with the md tank, 6 (or 7 if you're very lucky) to the carrier with the art, 7 to the western black boat with the rocket, 10 to the western cruiser with the neotank and the tank, 10 to the other cruiser with the megatank. In the south: 6 damages to the cruiser with the md tank, 10 to the western black boat with the art and the tank, 7 to the carrier with the rocket, 8 to the black boat with the neotank and 10 to the lander with the megatank. Finally use Eagle's power to finish the map. Individual strat: Tag power with Eagle again! Grit can also help you: 1 turn. PS: Thanks to Boris "sterlingfalco". Note: In Champion mode it's necessary to charge maximum power on this map. But in classic mode you can be more cool! ------------------------- 5.9 Map 9 - Crystal Field ------------------------- Goal: Finish it in 2 days. Charge as much power as possible. Skills: Eagle must have transport +1. Strat: Day 1: It's only moving. Thanks to Eagle's power, you can transport 2 mechs to the forests, so that they'll able to catch the HQ at day 2. Move the tanks to the roads, so that they'll be attacked by Kanbei and charge your power. Move also 2 rockets to the southeast: one to be attacked by Kanbei, and another to attack his art later. Finally use the APC to move the last mech to the northeastern forest, next to the t-copter. Indeed if you're lucky, this APC will be attacked by Kanbei, even if it's not necessary. Switch to Sami. Day 2: To charge power, attack 2 rockets with 2 mechs, and also 1 art with your rocket and your tank (if there's still be one!). Now you can use Sami's SCOP to catch the HQ! Individual strat: Tag power with Eagle and Sami: 1 turn. Alternative strat: It's possible to destroy all the units in 3 days by using Eagle's power twice. Look also the "alternative way". With other COs, a tag power is not necessary if you have a strong simple power, and also the skill that gives you a transport cost of 1 in the plains (in order to use rockets). ---------------------------- 5.10 Map 10 - Five Mile Isle ---------------------------- Goal: Finish it in 3 days. Skills: Sami must have transport +1. Strat: Day 1: Move the copters to the north east. Move two black boats to appeal the western neotanks, so that the southern mech will be able to attack one. Repair the copters. Move the northern mech to the south with APC, so that he will be able to attack the neotank. Switch to Eagle. Day 2: Move one black boat to appeal the last neotank. Attack the western neotank with the mechs, and the other with the copters after repairing them. The best you can do is to hit the 1st neotank down to 1 or 2 hp and the other down to 4 hp. Indeed if you make it, it will be possible to kill those tanks with the mechs at day 3, eventually by healing the southern. But it's not necessary in classic mode, so don't waste time and use Eagle's power to kill the 2nd neotank now! But whatever you choose, don't let John use his power (you may have to start again and wait). Day 3: Use Eagle's power to kill the last neotank. Kill the other neotank(s) with the mech(s). Individual strat: Tag power with Eagle and Rachel's missiles: 1 turn. Alternative strat: In champion mode, you have to keep Sami for day 2 in order to charge her power. I'll precise it later. --------------------------- 5.11 Map 11 - Forest Frenzy --------------------------- Goal: Finish it in 2 days. Skills: Eagle must have at least +16% direct attack. Strat: Day 1: Move 2 md tanks and 1 recon to the central road, to appeal 2 black bombs. Move 2 northern anti-airs to the northeastern forests, and the other between them, at their southeast side. Move one anti-air on the southern beach, and another on the closest beach of the central road. Move a md tank to the HQ, and the plane on its left side, because it frightens Sonja's black bombs. Move 1 recon to the east (it will help you to charge power). Move the 2 other recons to the west (they're absolutely unuseful). Hide the 4 other unities to the closest forests from the central road (the anti-air must be in the southwestern of those forests). Day 2: If you need power, you can sacrifice the 2 injured recons and the eastern md tank, if it's still alive. Kill the western recon with a md tank, the black bomb with an anti-air, another recon with a md tank, the inf with an anti-air. Move the fighter to the south of the anti-air of the road, so that you can now see the black bomb of the plain. Kill it with an anti-air. An inf appears in the forest: hit him down to 9 hp by a kamikaze attack with the last 1 hp md tank. Move the other unities as far as to the east as possible. Then use Eagle's power to kill them all. With the fighter, attack the western black bomb. There will stay only one black bomb, but Sonja will sacrifice it! Individual strat: Tag power with Eagle: 1 turn. ------------------------ 5.12 The alternative way ------------------------ I also found an alternative strat to reach the perfect score. It is interesting, because it gives an idea on how to improve this score. At map 8, do exactly the same things, but don't use your power at day 2: wait day 3 to finish the map. You now should have a Tag Power, which allows you to finish map 9 in only 1 day. You even have the choice between catching the HQ or killing everybody. It means that if there was a strat to finish map 8 in 2 days, without using power at day 2, turn survival scores could be improved. But, it seems impossible... ------------------ 6. Champion Mode ------------------ The best you can do is 85 maps finished. To make it, you have to give to Sami the Soul of Hachi for map 4 and also luck for map 10. That's why the best you can do is 18 turns for the 1st wave, and 15 turns for the other. For the 1st wave, it's not very difficult to finish map 3 in 4 days by using Eagle's power once. For the other waves, you have to use Eagle's power on map 1 to finish it in 3 days, then Sami's SCOP to finish map 2 in 4 days. But it's very difficult to charge her power: you have to maximize it on map 8, 9 and 10. ------------------ 6.0 The new skills ------------------ Eagle: transport +1, lucky attack, direct attack +8%, sea attack +10% Sami: transport +1, lucky attack, partner attack +8%, soul of hachi ----------------- 6.1 Map 3, wave 1 ----------------- Goal: 4 days.There are many strats to make it, but this is my favourite. Skills: None. Strat: Day 1: Hit the eastern infs down to 4 or 5 hp with the eastern battleships, after repairing them. Move the other battleships to the east. Move the last black boat to the west, so that the inf will go to the missle after. Start again until Andy's APC don't move, and an inf comes on its left side. Day 2: Attack the APC with the eastern battleships, but don't kill it, because it will load an inf. Attack the inf who catches your town, after repairing the battleship to 6 hp. One of the repairing black boats must be used to appeal Andy too. Move the inf to the missle, and the last battleship to the east. Start again until the recon moves to the road next to the HQ. Day 3: Launch a missle to the recon, the neotank and 2 infs. Repair the 6 hp battleship (the black boat must still be a lure) and kill the 7 hp inf and recon with them. Kill the APC with the 4 hp battleship. Move the eastern battleship next to the road (to be a lure), at the north of the 4 hp battleship. Andy can't use his power, because you didn't make him too many damages. Day 4: Repair totally a 7 hp battleship to kill the 7 hp neotank. Kill the other neotank with the other battleships. Then use Eagle's power to kill the inf and the tank. ------------------ 6.2 Map 10, wave 1 ------------------ Goal: 3 days. Charge as much power as possible. Skills: Sami must have transport +1 and lucky attack. Strat: Day 1: The same as for classic mode. But don't switch to Eagle. And the black boats must take only 4 damage, because you'll need to join them to make money later. Day 2: Hit the 1st neotank down to 1 hp with the mechs (attack first from the river). It's very difficult. You can save between the two attacks, but you have to check that the 1st mech made at least 4.5 damages (not just 4). This mech must also still have 3 hp. So be very careful, because there won't be any figure to see it. Repair one copter to 7 hp (one black boat must be a lure for the 1 hp neotank), and hit the 2nd neotank down to 7 hp. You have to lose only 1 hp. With the 5 hp copter, hit it down to 5 hp. The last black boat must lure the last neotank. Now you'll have to start again until John forget to use his power. If you really need power (if you didnt always make maximum damages before), wait that your 2 black boats have 5 hp. But it's safer if one of them still has 6 hp, in order to make more money. Day 3: Kill the 1 hp neotank with the 3 hp mech, and hit the 2nd neotank down to 1 hp with the other mech. Hit the last neotank down to 8 hp the 4 hp copter, which must take 2 damages. Repair the last copter twice to hit the neotank down to 4 hp. Don't forget to make money! Now use Eagle's power and kill the 1 hp neotank with the 2 hp copter, and the 4 hp neotank with the 8 hp copter (after repairing it once). You should even have the possibility to repair one of them one more time, if you fail to finish the map. -------------------- 6.3 Map 1, waves 2-8 -------------------- Goal: 3 days. Charge as much power as possible. Strat: Day 1: Use Eagle's power and a lander to move an inf to the eastern island. Switch to Sami. Days 2-3: Catch the HQ. You have to lose 2 landers and one t-copter. Besides a black boat must take 3 damage. -------------------- 6.4 Map 2, waves 2-8 -------------------- Goal: 4 days. Strat: Days 1-2: Catch the southern towns with the infs. Day 3: Use Sami's SCOP to create indirect units. Switch to Eagle. Day 4: Kill the inf. -------------------- 7. More Challenges -------------------- You might be sad to have completed Turn Survival. But don't worry, I found some interesting challenges! Try to make those scores, or to beat them! Eagle/Andy: 19 turns Koal/Jugger: 19 turns (strat found by Togami) Candy/Jugger: 20 turns Kanbei/Sonja: 21 turns Rachel/Nell: 21 turns If you have other ideas of good teams, please contact ,me! --------------- 8.
